pistol to remove it from your sight. Dealing with the massive fire that has sprung up in the middle of the corridor is another matter. Take a run and jump over the fire and into the next part of the passage. Leap the next fire, but be on your guard when you land as there is a hellhound waiting for you. Deal with the hound and clear the gallery of nasties. If you run out of pistols, you can find one on the right side of the gallery. The gap in the right side of the gallery leads down into a secret area containing a fire demon. Once the demon has been removed, you can walk into the secret passage he was guarding. There is a gargoyle concealed within the passage. Kill it, then grab the mountain of items that are neatly lined up at the back. Strike the door behind the items with your weapon and leap through the doorway and over the fire. Now you have to run through all the fiery corridors and back up to the gallery before your blue bar runs down. Worth it? I think not. Once you arrive back at the gallery, head through the door on the far side. Enter the next room and run to the end, dodging the attacks made by the hellhound until you get to the gargoyle. When you have got all the monsters in this section grouped around you, use the repeater to sort them out, or a couple of sticks of dynamite if you have them to spare. When the room is clear, grab the small health orb from the box near the exit - you'll certainly need it for later in the game. Then cross through the flaming section of corridor and do battle with the hellhound there. Follow the passageway round and enter the final chamber. There's a hound and a gargoyle to kill here. Do so, then walk right to the balcony outside. As you step out onto the balcony, a harpy and a gargoyle will be on top of you in seconds. Beat them off and look around.
